EASE 5 – Precise and powerful room acoustic optimizations

The support for EASE Evac version 1 ends on March 1, 2024

Maintenance updates and support for EASE Evac version 1 will end on March 1, 2024. We recommend all users of version 1 to update to version 2 straight ahead!

EASE Focus goes Immersive with SPAT Revolution!

The latest release of AFMG’s EASE Focus now supports export of reproduction system arrangements to the SPAT Revolution real-time spatial audio mixing engine from FLUX:: Immersive.

Over the last months the toolset of EASE 5 has been extended with a strong focus on enabling design engineers to realize large and complex projects. The functionality is now more comfortable and efficient than ever in EASE.

EASE 5 Second Edition: Major feature additions & new calculation tools

The new version of EASE 5 was launched on September 19, 2023. This landmark update represents an important milestone in the EASE development as all functionality for dealing with large and complex projects is now available thanks to a whole range of new tools! EASE 5-SE is a free upgrade for all current licensees of EASE 5.

AFMG announces end of support for EASE 4 licenses purchased before March 12, 2018

Technical support as well as maintenance for all EASE 4 licenses purchased before March 12, 2018 will end on September 30, 2025. All users are offered to upgrade to EASE 5 at renewal pricing.

Lab.gruppen and AFMG announce extensive FIRmaker integration in Lake v8

As a worldwide first, Lake v8 now supports exchanging entire sound system configurations with AFMG’s EASE Focus line array optimization software. Applying FIRmaker beam-shaping in the field is now easier than ever.

EASE 5-FE now supports full data import of sound system configurations

Starting with subversion 54, EASE 5 can handle all possible settings stored in an XGLC loudspeaker configuration file. The import of configurations created in 3rd party loudspeaker and line array software, as well as in EASE Focus, has been added to enable the complete exchange of sound system setups and their use for complex acoustic simulations in 3D models.
